Speaker: Mike Buckel
Electric Power Supply & Distribution
Mike has a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering and has lived in Hart County for 18 years. He began his career at Chrysler in Detroit, where he performed race engine development while being a driver for the Ramchargers, the factory Dodge drag race team. After leaving
Chrysler, he became an automotive consultant specializing in heavy vehicles. He managed the test program for the USPS Long Life Vehicle that resulted in the largest-ever peacetime vehicle procurement. These vehicles have exceeded by far their scheduled life, and most are still
serving the Post Office. His automotive knowledge has led him to study the technology of the emerging Electric Car market. He spoke about the cars a year ago at this property owners’ meeting, at this meeting he will focus on the electric power supply and distribution.
